Marco Ciomperlik is the Chief Airline Officer of the TUI Group – responsible for the leisure airlines.

With more than 8,000 employees and 130 airplanes, TUI Airline serves more than 140 holiday destinations in the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands, North Africa, North America, the Caribbean and Southeast Asia. Marco manages the five group airlines, which include TUI Airways (UK), TUI fly Nordic, TUI fly Belgium, TUI fly Netherlands, and TUI fly Germany, who together bring more than 26 million customers to their holiday destinations each year.

Marco Ciomperlik joined TUI in 2016 and during his time here he has held several different positions and has been in charge of the development and implementation of the group’s aviation strategy. Having harmonised the operations of the five airlines under one TUI Airline banner, Marco has been responsible for a comprehensive increase in the airline’s performance and cost efficiency.

Marco Ciomperlik has accumulated more than 25 years of professional experience in international senior management positions. Having previously worked at Deutsche Bank and Roland Berger, he started his aviation career with Air Berlin back in 2010. Since then, he has become a well-known expert in the industry with a proven track record of successful corporate turnarounds and change management initiatives.
