German Supply Chain Act

The protection of human rights and environmental standards in supply chains is the premise of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), which came into force on January 1, 2023. It obliges companies to analyze and monitor compliance with human rights, working conditions and environmental standards along their supply chain and to take remedial action in the event of grievances. The LkSG applies to the company's own business area and to the entire supply chain, both in Germany and worldwide.

In implementing our human rights and environmental due diligence obligations, we rely on the following key elements: responsibilities and risk management, risk analyses, preventive measures, complaints procedures, remedial actions, documentation and reporting. The process is continuously reviewed for its effectiveness.

We have prepared an information package for our suppliers and partners about the LkSG, its consequences and the impact on the TUI Group and its supply chain. This is publicly available (further information here).

We publish annual reports on the fulfillment of our due diligence obligations. These are published here on our website no later than four months after the end of our financial year and submitted to the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control.

Our published reports on the GSCA are available for download below:
