It attracts the world’s best sailors and designers and for the 36th edition four Challenger teams - two from the USA and one each from Great Britain and Italy – will battle it out for the right to take on the Defender Emirates Team New Zealand on the syndicate’s home waters in Auckland in March 2021.

The Challenger teams and the Defender will compete together for the first time in Cagliari, Sardinia from April 23 – 26, 2020, racing revolutionary 75-foot foiling monohull yachts capable of flying above the water at speeds up to 50 knots (57 miles/hour, 92.6 Km/h).

Via Musement, sailing enthusiasts will be able to purchase tickets and experiences to follow the COR36 regattas on shore and on the water, as well as additional special tours and activities developed for the event via the TUI subsidiary and other partners. Fans will be able to book via the official website of the America's Cup, as well as on the digital channels of the TUI Group.

“It was essential for us to have an experienced and reliable partner to help deliver a world class spectator experience for fans attending our America’s Cup World Series events, the Christmas Race, and the Prada Cup, and Musement fits the bill perfectly,” commented Laurent Esquier, CEO of the Challenger of Record 36 organisation.

This latest agreement sees Musement further expand its product portfolio of high-quality sporting events. The Italian company is already partner to more than 40 Sport Events, among which are: the Giro d’italia, Audi R8 Tour, Davis Cup Finals by Rakuten with F.I.T., F1 Abu Dhabi, and the Barcolana – one of the world’s most popular yachts races.

In total, the TUI subsidiary offers more than 150,000 products. The portfolio ranges from wellness offers and adventure experiences to tickets for museum visits, guided city tours and individual sightseeing tours.

"We are proud to be a partner of such a prestigious sailing event, particularly one so rich in tradition," says Paolo Giulini, VP Offer Development of Musement. "We will also offer visitors to the COR36 America's Cup World Series events an appealing programme outside of the competition itself.”
