Here are some of the successes TUI has achieved in the area of sustainability in 2025.

Next year, we will continue working towards our ambitious goals: expanding the positive impacts of tourism worldwide, further reducing the environmental footprint of our operations, and actively involving our colleagues and customers in this transformation. In doing so, we foster prosperity and development.

• 1,358 new solar panels will supply more than half of the electricity needs of the TUI Belgium office at Brussels Airport.
• TUI Airline has reduced CO₂ emissions per revenue passenger kilometre by 7.8% since FY2019*.
• More than 53,600 hours of training on sustainability topics have been completed by TUI employees across various training schemes and professional development programmes, including the newly launched TUI Sustainability Academy.
• In 2025 the TUI Group received an “A” rating in the global CDP Climate Ranking for its verifiable climate management and transparent reporting.
• Buses powered by renewable diesel (HVO, Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) covered around 174,219 km in FY25, including airport-hotels transfers, excursions, and Intercruises operations. That is the distance of four times around the globe. Fuel-related emissions from vehicles powered by HVO can be reduced by up to 90% compared to conventional diesel. The exact reduction varies depending on the batch supplied and is detailed in the batch’s sustainability certification.
• With the TUI eCharge App, around 600,000 charging points worldwide can currently be accessed.
• The entire TUI staff vehicle fleet on Menorca is electric.
• Around 5 million people were reached with TUI’s sustainability podcast “We’re on it, right?” through listening to the podcast or reading related content.
• Around 60% rise in port calls with on-shore power was achieved at Mein Schiff and Hapag-Lloyd compared to the previous year. In FY2024 there were 72 connections and 115 in FY2025.
• TUI Cruises completed the first Bio-LNG bunkering of the “Mein Schiff Relax”, using around 1,875 m³ of Bio-LNG and marking another important step towards lower-emission cruising.
• Absolute CO₂e emissions from cruises have been reduced by 5.5% compared to FY2019**.
• TUI Hotels & Resorts produce renewable energy with photovoltaic systems in 19 countries.
• TUI Hotels & Resorts have reduced CO₂ emissions by 17.5% since FY2019.***
• TUI offered 2,677 hotels with an independent sustainability certification in FY2025, compared to 2,051 in FY2024.
• In FY2025, 526 contrail avoidance flights were completed by TUI Airline.
• 11,262 tonnes of voluntary Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) were used by TUI Airline in FY2025, replacing an equivalent amount of conventional kerosene. Measured by volume, that was almost 11 times higher than the SAF used in FY2024. SAF is a key enabler in reducing emissions in aviation and has the potential of reducing CO₂ emissions significantly (up to approximately 80-85%)¹."
• TUI's first hydrogen-powered aircraft turnaround was successfully completed in Exeter, using ground support vehicles powered entirely by hydrogen from renewable energy.
• 2,490 experiences, tours and activities have been verified in accordance with international sustainability criteria, compared to 1,881 in 2024.
• TUI Care Foundation
• The TUI Care Foundation launched 49 new projects worldwide.
