14 December: St. Lucia in Scandinavia

With this celebration, colleagues ring in the festive season

Yesterday, our collagues from TUI in the Nordic have celebrated “Luciadagen” – Lucia's Day. It is also known as the festival of lights and is being primarely celebrated in Sweden, Norway, and the Swedish-speaking areas of Finland on December 13 in honour of St. Lucia (St. Lucy). The festival marks the beginning of the Christmas season in Scandinavia, and it is meant to bring hope and light during the darkest time of the year.

Usually our colleagues enjoy this event in their office but due to the pandemic it was livestreamed this year.
