Anyone can go on vacation to a Club resort, but what does it actually take to put together the wide ranging resort programme on a day to day basis, in terms of organisation, training and knowledge? Nina, a tourism clerk appentice at TUI Germany since 2022, experienced this first-hand.
Over the past three months, she‘s been supporting her colleagues as a member of the TUI MAGIC LIFE Entertainment Team. Part of the intensive pre-peak preparation for the summer season each year is the "Summer Kick Off" at TUI MAGIC LIFE Jacaranda in Türkiye. Entertainment Managers, Dance Captains and Kids Club Chiefs are particlarly required to participate in the new programme. With 120 colleagues from 15 different countries there, Nina felt fortunate to be taking part.
The theme for this year‘s programme was "How to make your guests feel special". During long arts and craft evenings where masks and costumes for the shows were handmade together, it became apparent that this motto was taken quite seriously. "For me it was all very exciting, thrilling and new." Nina explained: "I got to know many people from all over the world and understood what it takes to make a successful Club vacation".
What she remembers most are the conversations with people from different backgrounds, which were always full of joy and positive energy – a unique opportunity to broaden her personal horizons. And the daily walks on the beach, which left her with that real holiday feeling, were also a personal highlight. "All in all," she says, "it was a great insight into the world of TUI MAGIC LIFE, to see what it takes to bring a Club to life."
