Change in the Supervisory Board of TUI AG: Stefan Heinemann to succeed Ortwin Strubelt

The successful takeover of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises by TUI Cruises has resulted in a change in TUI AG's Supervisory Board: Ortwin Strubelt has resigned from the Board. Since Hapag-Lloyd Cruises is no longer a wholly-owned subsidiary of TUI AG but has become part of the joint venture TUI Cruises, his function as employee representative on TUI AG's Supervisory Board is legally no longer applicable. Ortwin Strubelt had been a member of TUI AG's Supervisory Board since 2009 and was most recently a member of the Presiding Committee and the Audit Committee. The employee representatives on TUI AG's Supervisory Board proposed Stefan Heinemann, Product Owner Disposition & Maintenance at TUI InfoTec and member of the TUI Europa Forum, as his successor. He has to be officially appointed by Hanover District Court. The corresponding application was submitted today.
