TUI Group strengthens its financial profile with early convertible bond repayment

Corporate
Annual Report 2024 Cover
Hannover, 16th October 2025. TUI fully redeems the outstanding approximately €118 million of its convertible bonds originally due in 2028. The bonds were issued with a coupon of 5 per cent in 2021 during the pandemic.

TUI already bought back 80 per cent of the 2028 convertible bonds in July 2024, following the successful placement of new convertible bonds due in 2031. The redemption of the remaining 20 per cent will be executed at par, without premium, and completed on 17th November 2025.

This early repayment will further improve TUI’s financial profile by reducing gross leverage and interest costs.
