The Riu Palace Madeira hotel is now even safer following the vaccination of all its employees

- Ninety-five percent of the hotel’s employees have now received both doses of the vaccine, joining other RIU destinations where staff have been vaccinated against COVID-19
Ninety-five percent of employees at the hotel Riu Palace Madeira hotel, which reopened on May 17th, are now vaccinated against COVID-19. The campaign started providing the first dose just after the hotel’s reopening, and employees received the second dose in June. Now this establishment is an even safer option for guests, whom are also protected by RIU’s 17 protocols that continue to be successfully applied in all of the chain’s hotels.
The hotel Riu Palace Madeira hotel joined the Regional Government of Madeira’s vaccination plan for the tourism sector. In total, 110 of its 144 employees have received both doses of the vaccine. The remaining 5% have already received the first dose and will receive the second in a few days, meaning that all of the hotel’s employees will be fully vaccinated.
It was administered in the Vaccination Centre of Madeira by SESARAM (Health Service of the Autonomous Region of Madeira). Thanks to this initiative, the Riu Palace Madeira joins other RIU hotels where all staff have been fully vaccinated, such as the Riu Dubai and hotels in the Maldives.
