RIU Hotels & Resorts has been honoured at the latest edition of the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA), the most prestigious awards recognising excellence in South Asia's hospitality and travel industry. RIU achieved the distinction of "Gold Winner" in the category of Leading Resort/Hotel Brand in South Asia.
The award was collected by Sisitha Weerasekara, Cluster Sales Manager for the Maldives and Sri Lanka at RIU Hotels & Resorts, at the gala ceremony, held at the Cinnamon Grand Colombo in Sri Lanka on the 20 of September. The recognition was presented by the Chairperson of Visit Maldives Corporation.
