Xiamen, 9 July 2025. TUI Group continues to grow in Asia and announces its sixth hotel in China. Located in Jimei District of Xiamen City, TUI Blue Xiamen Seaside Hot Spring has 340 rooms and offers its guests a hot spring experience. Sourced from deep sea hot spring water and renowned as the “Beauty Spring”, the facility invites guests to soak in warm temperatures of the authentic essence of marine hot spring water that is rich in calcium, magnesium, iron and dozens of other trace elements beneficial to health. The hotel is located on the South-eastern coast of China with a distance of seven kilometres to the white sandy Jimei Beach.

Chen Aiqin, president of Yongtongchang Group and owner of the hotel, says: “Over the past decade, we have dedicated our passion, dreams, wisdom, and hard work to this hotel, creating a sense of pride and a meaningful legacy. As we celebrate this transition to TUI Blue, I truly believe it will become a vibrant symbol of Xiamen's tourism industry. I’m confident that TUI's presence will shine brightly in China's tourism landscape. With our partnership with TUI Blue, we look forward to a promising future together, writing a new chapter and bringing a new era of success to this beautiful land of Xiamen.“

Artur Gerber, Managing Director TUI Hotels & Resorts, add: “We are delighted to welcome this hotel to the TUI Blue family, adding a new holiday destination to our portfolio. Thanks to the trust of our partners, we are rapidly expanding our footprint in China. Together we create new holiday experiences for international tourists but of course we also appeal to guests who spend their holidays in their own country.”

In addition, the group will also open its first ski resort in China. TUI Blue Keketuohai Sanbaisuo, located in the north-west of the country, will join the portfolio later this year. The Altay Region features a diverse landscape and offers the longest snow season in Asia. The neighbouring Keketuohai ski area will open for 210 days a year and has 23 slopes with a total length of 61 kilometres. There are a total of 80 ski trails planned, summing up to 121 kilometres.

One year ago, the first TUI Blue hotel was launched in China. Since then, TUI Hotels & Resorts has opened a total of six hotels in the country, including one under the TUI Suneo brand. Further growth is planned and more hotels of the group’s popular leisure hotel brands will open in the coming months and years.
