Changes in the TUI Supervisory Board

Hannover, 30th June 2025: The Supervisory Board of TUI approved to go for court appointment of Johan Lundgren as a new member of the Supervisory Board. By this court appointment, Lundgren now succeeds Pepijn Rijvers, who had previously resigned from the Supervisory Board.

Johan Lundgren will contribute his extensive tourism experience to TUI's Supervisory Board. He began his four-decade career in tourism in 1986 at Fritidsresor - now part of TUI Nordic. Most recently, he led TUI's markets and airlines as Deputy Group CEO from 2011 to 2015. After leaving TUI, Lundgren was CEO of Easyjet Plc from 2017 until the end of 2024. Complying with the with the German Corporate Governance Code, TUI will propose the confirmatory election of Mr Lundgren as a shareholder representative on the Supervisory Board at the 2026 Annual General Meeting.

Pepijn Rijvers, previously Chief Product and Technology Officer of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, joined TUI's Supervisory Board in February 2025. In view of his new role in the tourism sector, he has decided to step down from his position at TUI.

After ten years, he is now returning to TUI as a member of the Supervisory Board. We are very much looking forward to working with him."
