TUI UK ANNOUNCED AS OFFICIAL HOLIDAY PARTNER OF THE AJ BELL GREAT RUN SERIES
TUI UK will once again be the official holiday partner of the AJ Bell Great Run Series, following a successful partnership in 2023.
A TUI UK ‘Live Happy Runway’ will be at each race, located at key locations on each route to give runners a ‘pick me up’ on their journey to the finish line.
The popular TUI BLUE massages will also make a return to the AJ Bell Great Run Series events, offering a chance of a well-deserved relaxing experience to those who finish the run, whether it be the 10k, half marathon or 10-mile challenge.
Runners will also have the opportunity for a post-race stretch at the TUI Stretch Zone to cool down and aid post-race recovery.
At the AJ Bell Great North Run, one lucky runner will also have the chance to win a £3,000 TUI holiday by heading over to the TUI photo backdrop on event day to find out how to enter.
The AJ Bell Great North Run, which starts in Newcastle and finishes in South Shields, boasts 60,000 participants each year, making it the biggest half marathon in the world, with thousands of spectators lining the streets to cheer on the participants. The event which draws runners from every postcode in the UK is also televised live on the BBC.
As the UK’s original running events series, we know a thing or two about motivation. Over the last four decades we’ve realised it doesn’t matter why people run or how far they go – the one thing every runner has in common is that moment of triumph when they cross the line. We want everyone to experience that feeling, so we’ll do whatever we can to help our customers achieve their goal and be their greatest. Starting with the very first Great North Run in 1981, our events have always been a celebration of what makes our locations great. The Great Run Series now sees hundreds of thousands of participants a year taking part. The events programme stretches across the UK from Glasgow to Portsmouth offering a full range of distances from 5k through to half marathon.
