25th February 2024: Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway returned to the nation’s screens last night on ITV1, STV & ITVX revealing the biggest ever audience prize giveaway in British TV history, with hundreds of TUI holidays up for grabs. And to the delight of the extraordinary 415 strong studio audience made up of deserving individuals – including local community heroes, foster parents and charity fund-raisers – every single member was surprised with a Takeaway Getaway.

They can now look forward to choosing from more than 130 hotels in over 40 destinations – or for the first time ever to sail away to the Caribbean or Mediterranean with Marella Cruises.

It’s the third time the global travel and leisure company has teamed up with the nation’s favourite entertainment show. And to celebrate its 20th anniversary more than 200 Takeaway Getaways will be given away across the seven-week run.

Since their first collaboration in 2020 TUI has taken away more than 450 winners and their guests with the most popular destinations Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Greece and Egypt. A dedicated team of retail homeworkers are deployed to give recommendations and advice, and handle every detail of their holiday booking, with more experts involved in this bumper year.

Leanne Johnson, based in Bristol, heads up the team and has been involved in all three collaborations. “We’re so excited to be part of this again this year; it’s an absolute joy to connect with the winners, hear their stories and help them find their perfect holiday. There’s more choice than ever before with cruises included this series, and it’s our job to guide them through what’s on offer and identify the best getaway for their specific needs. Many of us have kept in touch with previous winners, who come back to book their next holidays with us because we’ve got to know them and understand what will work for them.”

Winners and up to three guests can travel whenever suits them from May 2024 until October 2025* for beach holidays and sailings available on specific dates from April 2024 to October 2025, and as well as a seven night All Inclusive beach or cruise holiday, they will be able to enjoy a TUI experience with plenty of choice to suit all tastes from cultural exploration and walking tours to adventurous 4×4 safaris, boat trips and wonderful water parks.
