Thursday 20 July 2023. TUI’s winter 2024 holidays go on sale today with 1000s of resorts to choose from in more than 40 destinations and a new 5* river cruise ship.
Following the introduction of the lesser-known Egyptian gateway of Marsa Alam this year, TUI customers can also take advantage of the UK’s only direct flights to Luxor to explore this amazing location from land and water. A brand-new River Nile cruise will set sail in November 2024 with exclusive TUI charter flights from London Gatwick and Manchester Airports weekly on Thursdays from 7th November 2024 – 24th April 2025.
The itinerary will take in some of Egypt’s most famous ancient sights sailing between Luxor and Aswan with Egyptologists onboard for expert insights. Whilst those who prefer to stay on dry land can select from a range of iconic hotels all perfectly positioned on the banks of the River Nile and most within walking distance of Luxor city centre – dubbed the greatest open-air museum in the world. Top picks include the Hilton Luxor with its infinity pool and views out across the Nile and the Jolie Ville Kings Island Resort with its unique island location.
After adding more capacity further south in the Red Sea this summer, TUI’s range of hotels and experiences in the area is unrivalled. Excellent value 3*-5* resorts with guaranteed sun are on offer in Sharm El Sheik, Hurghada and Marsa Alam, with TUI flights remaining the only direct way to get to this laid-back gem on the Sinai Peninsula.
Following a successful first winter in 2023, the gently intrepid, no jet-lag West African destination of Senegal is back with exclusive weekly direct flights from London Gatwick starting even earlier on 7 October 2024, with plenty of choice in other mid-haul hot spots from the Canaries to Cape Verde and long-haul options in the Caribbean, Mexico and Thailand.
Richard Sofer, Commercial Director for TUI UK, comments: “We’re delighted to have an incredible range of holidays on sale today with the low deposits and direct debit options we know are so important in helping customers plan and budget. With exclusive direct flying in North and West Africa, exciting new additions in Egypt and a multitude of beach and city hotels available from the Canaries to the Caribbean, Lapland to Iceland, travelling from 22 regional airports – whatever kind of getaway customers are after they’ll find it with TUI.”
