On Tuesday 19th May, the doors of our TUI Time Travel Shop in The Hague, Netherlands opened. To celebrate 150 years of TUI in the Netherlands, the shop on Dagelijkse Groenmarkt has been transformed into a true vintage travel store. Inside, 150 years of Dutch travel history come together with booking holidays for today.

Past and present under one roof

The TUI Time Travel Shop is styled in the atmosphere of the 1970s and 1980s and serves as a temporary pop-up experience. Visitors quite literally step back in time. Think vintage travel vibes, retro details and a strong sense of nostalgia. At the same time, you can of course also book your next holiday there. What makes it even more special is that our roots lie here. In the historic building right next to the shop, Reis- en passagebureau Lissone-Lindeman, the oldest travel agency in the Netherlands, was once located. And now, 150 years later, we are bringing that story back to life.

Festive opening

In the presence of press, loyal shop customers, retirees and colleagues, the opening was celebrated in style. Various events are also planned in the coming weeks.
