TUI club brands to work more closely together in future

Positioning of the Robinson and TUI Magic Life brands remains unchanged

TUI Group has brought the teams behind its club brands Robinson and TUI Magic Life together under one umbrella, with the aim of making its popular brands even stronger and more efficient. The organisational structure and cooperation between the club experts has been redesigned, however the positioning and identity of the two brands remains unchanged.

“We’ve seen the benefit of our two club brands driving forward joint initiatives, as they have been working closely together for a number of years. Before the pandemic, Robinson and TUI Magic Life were strong brands that performed well. Robinson in fact has seen a particular strong increase in bookings at the beginning of the year”, says Erik Friemuth, Managing Director TUI Hotels & Resorts. “Under the motto 'Two club brands – one strong team', we now make the popular brands even stronger and more efficient, to take the next step in our growth course together”. All employees of TUI Magic Life have been integrated into the larger Robinson organisational unit. The premium brand Robinson brings over 50 years of experience in the club segment to the joint structure, while the all-inclusive brand TUI Magic Life with its international focus will provide important drive for further development.

The management of the two club brands will be led by Robinson’s managing directors Bernd Mäser and Tobias Neumann. Andreas Pospiech, previously Managing Director of TUI Magic Life, had already made the decision to pursue new opportunities outside TUI Group, before the Corona crisis. Johannes Schaden, Managing Director of TUI Magic Life, has also taken the decision to continue his career outside of TUI and join the Austrian tourism industry again. “Andreas Pospiech and Johannes Schaden have done an excellent job in recent years and laid the foundation for the further growth of our all-inclusive club brand,” says Erik Friemuth. “I would like to thank them for their great commitment and wish them every success both professionally and personally in the future. Bernd Mäser and Tobias Neumann are taking over a motivated team in difficult times and I wish them every success in the further development of our club brands”.
