RIU reopens hotel Riu Buenavista in Tenerife following a complete refurbishment

  • The hotel is a favourite with families thanks to its 24-hour all-inclusive service and its spectacular location, as well as its six pools, entertainment programme and wide range of bars and restaurants

The RIU chain has reopened hotel Riu Buenavista following a complete renewal of its facilities and services. It is located in Adeje, in the south of Tenerife, and this project of a 4-star hotel with 542 roomsdemonstrates RIU’s firm commitment to maintaining its investment in the Canary Islands and raising the quality of what it has to offer in the destination. Furthermore, with Riu Buenavista, RIU has completed its portfolio of fully refurbished hotels in Adeje, together with the exclusive Riu Palace Tenerife, and the adults-only Riu Arecas.

“We have wanted to undertake this project for a long time. Hotel Riu Buenavista has a unique location and structure. It has been truly satisfying to finally be able to carry out this overhaul that makes the most of its potential and offers its staff and customers a more modern, comfortable and efficient environment to work in and enjoy,” explains Luis Riu, CEO of RIU Hotels & Resorts.

Riu Buenavista, which offers RIU’s 24-hour all-inclusive service, is reopening with a new, fresh and contemporary image. It is also more efficient and accessible now, thanks to a radical change in its indoor and outdoor spaces. In the reception, which is now larger, more modern and light-filled, a large central plaza has been created which will act as the hotel’s beating heart. The changes also include the main restaurant terrace, a new Italian restaurant and the stage for nighttime performances.

The outdoor part of the hotel, which descends towards the sea with terraces on various levels, has several sun decks and six new pools. One pool is only for adults, another is an infinity pool with water loungers, and two are for children, one with a play area and one for babies, both inside an enclosed children’s zone close to Club RiuLand. A new beach bar and a Riu-Fit zone for sports activities have been built next to the adult pools, complete with a multisport, multipurpose track and a beach volley area.

As a result of the renovation, all the rooms at Riu Buenavista are lighter and more comfortable, with bold décor in light colours and more modern, accessible bathrooms featuring large shower trays. What’s more, the dining options have been updated with a range of places to eat: Italian and Asian restaurants, a beach bar with grill, poolside bar and more.

With its impressive sea views, this all-inclusive hotel in Tenerife stands out for being one of the best all-inclusive hotels on the island and for providing the exclusive RIU Hotels & Resorts service so that customers can enjoy a real holiday. On the island of Tenerife, tourists can also enjoy unique experiences including visiting the Teide National Park or the Adeje Massif and Barranco del Infierno Nature Reserve.
