Pandemic protection: holiday guarantee insurance for all TUI customers

The TUI Group is the first travel company to offer customers in the European markets a new special safety promise in cooperation with AXA Partners. All guests travelling on holiday with TUI this year will automatically receive a supplementary holiday guarantee cover at no extra cost. This is a special protection in case of pandemics and epidemics and includes medical support and treatment even in COVID-19 cases worldwide.

A 24/7 emergency hotline and an app in various European languages provide medical telecare during the holiday. Should a PCR test, medical treatment or even quarantine be necessary during the holiday, the costs will be covered for the most part. Medical repatriation to the home country to a hospital near the place of residence is also included.

TUI thus offers all customers an additional safety promise to ensure that they can enjoy a relaxed and safe holiday. As a rule, guests do not incur any additional costs in connection with Covid-19 that are not covered by regular travel health insurance. For a carefree summer holiday, TUI also recommends taking out travel cancellation and travel health insurance.
