RNS: TUI Group – Peter Long appointed Non-Executive Director and Chairman-Designated of Royal Mail plc

Regulatory Announcements

Royal Mail plc has today announced that Peter Long, Joint Chief Executive of TUI AG has been appointed to its Board as a Non-Executive Director and as Chairman-designate. He will join the Board on 18 June 2015 and will stand for election at the Company’s Annual General Meeting on 23 July 2015.

Royal Mail announced on 29 January 2015 that its current Chairman, Donald Brydon, had informed the Board of his intention to step down from the Board once a new Chairman had been selected. Peter will succeed Donald as Chairman on 1 September 2015.

Peter will remain Joint Chief Executive of TUI until the Group’s AGM in February 2016 when it is planned that he will become Chairman of TUI AG’s Supervisory Board and Fritz Joussen will be appointed sole Chief Executive.
