TUI introduces a value guarantee for its worldwide excursion programme with over 10,000 different excursions at the beginning of the summer season. Should a guest receive the exact same excursion from another provider at a better price, TUI will refund the difference between the two offers. The value guarantee applies regardless of whether the customer has booked the excursion in advance at a travel agency, with a local rep or online.
With the introduction of the value guarantee, TUI is consistently pursuing its differentiation strategy in the excursion segment. This already includes the exclusive product segments “TUI Collection“ and “PLUS2, which give customers access to unique excursions or exclusive additional services when visiting attractions.
Booking excursions will also become even easier in the future: With the help of a new chat function in the TUI App, guests can book excursions and make enquiries 24/7. The guests’ chat messages are transmitted to a central place, the TUI Experience Center in Mallorca, and answered within 24 hours. As before, holidaymakers may, of course, also personally address their local tour reps or contact the TUI Experience Center staff by phone.
