HolidayCheck, the largest independent German-speaking travel review website, has awarded the "Recommended on HolidayCheck 2019” certificate to 78 RIU Hotels & Resorts. HolidayCheck has over 18 million visits and is the German market leader in vacations and travel reviews. The "Recommended on HolidayCheck" certificates are awarded for the eighth consecutive year to hotels with good guest reviews and with a recommendation rate of at least 75%.
The award-winning RIU hotels are located in the following 17 countries. Spain, Portugal/Madeira, Cape Verde, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Morocco, Bulgaria, Mexico, USA, Aruba, Costa Rica, Mauritius, Panama, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Germany and Ireland.
The criteria for winning the award are as follows:
- At least 1 active review, written from the 1st of January 2018 until the 31st of March 2019
- At least a 75% recommendation rate
- At least to get a minimum score of 4,0 out of 6
- No breach of the HolidayCheck Code of Conduct
