What do you enjoy most in your job with TUI in Turkey?

The most exciting part is dealing with a lot of different situations such as organizing vehicles for our guests for all kind of needs and anytime they want. I know we did a good job when I see our guests smiling.

What is special about Bodrum?

Bodrum is a town of whitewashed houses decorated with flowers, rising in tiers on the green hill overlooking a dazzling blue bay. That is why Bodrum is also known as the Saint-Tropez of Turkey. The Aegean coast is an area of natural beauty full of famous landmarks such as the Bodrum Castle and the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus.

What Beach would you recommend in Bodrum?

The Camel Beach and Kargi Bay area is very popular amongst tourists and locals alike – a perfect getaway for a day out. If you love sandy beaches, sunshine and picturesque nature views, a trip to Camel Beach will be just what you are looking for while in Bodrum.

What local food should visitors in try in Bodrum?

The Sebzeli Döner is a specialty of the town. It is meat cooked on a spinning skewer, lined with rows of potatoes and vegetables. You should also try Çökertme Kebab. This famous kebab is made with fajita beef marinated in olive oil and cooked over the grill. Served with matchstick French fries, yoghurt, grilled tomatoes and green peppers. It’s a delicious local dish that you must try when in Bodrum.

What is the best experience in your region that no visitor should miss?

I recommend discovering Stratonikeia, the ancient city of eternal love. Our TUI Collection excursion “City of Eternal Love‘’ gives you the opportunity to see one of the most significant archeological sites in Asia and the stories behind it.

Did you know …

… that the Tomb of Mausolus is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World? The word “mausoleum“ actually derives from the buried King Mausolus.
