Experiencing the new TUI BLUE first hand and making the hotel offerings tangible – these were the goals of the event held in Sarigerme end of last month. The popular Turkish holiday destination had been chosen as the venue since TUI customers will be able to choose from as many as three TUI BLUE hotels in the destination from Summer 2020. TUI BLUE Sarigerme Park will be positioned as a “For All” hotel, while TUI BLUE Seno will be offered as a “For Two” hotel and TUI BLUE Tropical as a “For Families” hotel.
At the launch of the new TUI BLUE, around 200 travel agency partners and employees as well as 17 journalists from nine countries met in Sarigerme. They had the opportunity to experience and test all services of the flagship hotel brand at comprehensive tours of the hotel and numerous interactive workshop sessions. They were able to use the BLUE app, also available to hotel guests to enable them to check their programme for the day, to book all workshop sessions through the digital service assistant. They also had a chance to experience the culinary offering or work out with the Bluef!t programme.
A surprise performance of the German-Spanish singer Alvaro Soler enabled the hotel guests and travel professionals to celebrate together. For the close of the event, the TUI BLUE team had prepared a laser projection projecting the TUI Blue logo onto the island opposite the Sarigerme shore as well as an ice sculpture of the logo.
