All TUI Group hotel nominees received awards in the renowned World Luxury Hotel Awards voting procedure. A particularly outstanding achievement: II Castelfalfi – TUI Blue Selection won an award for the second consecutive time, this year as the world’s best Luxury Golf Resort. The hotel had already been recognised as Europe’s best Luxury Wine Estate Hotel last year. The award-winners also included the three Robinson Clubs Maldives, Noonu and Khao Lak, as the jury announced in Rovaniemi/Finland, on 12 October. Robinson Club Maldives was recognised as the best Luxury Adult Beach Resort in the Indian Ocean region for Continental luxury accommodation, Robinson Club Noonu was the winner in the Luxury Beach Villa category in the Indian Oceans Islands region for Regional accommodation, and Robinson Club Khao Lak was recognised as the winner in the Luxury Beachfront Villa category in the South East Asia region for Regional accommodation.
The successful TUI Blue and Robinson hotels do not only target TUI customers from Europe, but also holidaymakers from the US and Asia. The renowned Luxury Hotel Awards highlight high-quality hotels for these new target groups and create increased awareness of our brands overseas. The II Castelfalfi – TUI Blue Selection hotel was delighted to be recognised as the best Luxury Golf Resort, as the award coincides with the imminent opening of a new golf clubhouse on the local golf course.
The World Luxury Hotel Awards were presented for the fourteenth consecutive time. Over 300,000 international guests and travellers vote each year during a four-week period to select the winners among luxury hotels across more than 99 different categories. For each hotel, the voters had three categories to choose from. Winning the four awards will strengthen the image of TUI Group’s portfolio, in particular across the new target group, and confirm our hotel strategy with its continuous expansion.
