Since 2006, the World Luxury Hotel Awards have been presented every year, rewarding the highest quality standards and outstanding performance in the hotel industry. Over 300,000 international guests and travellers evaluate luxury hotels in more than 99 different categories every year within four weeks. For each hotel there are three categories for the voters to choose from. By participating in the World Luxury Hotel Awards, luxury hotels are given the opportunity to present their unique selling points and destinations. Winning an award strengthens the image of the TUI Group's portfolio, especially in the new target group, and confirms the hotel strategy with its continuous expansion.
This year, four TUI Group hotels have been nominated for the World Luxury Hotel Awards: The II Castelfalfi – TUI Blue Selection and the three Robinson Clubs Maldives, Noonu and Khao Lak. The nominated hotels of TUI Blue and Robinson are not only aimed at TUI guests from Europe, but also at holidaymakers from the USA respectively Asia. For these new target groups, the renowned Luxury Hotel Awards are an indicator of the high quality of the hotel industry and help to raise the profile of our overseas brands.
