Women’s power at Robinson

Peggy Gau and Tina Grünold are Club directors at Robinson Club Cala Serena in Mallorca. “Two women in one Club – this was practically unheard of.” In the TUI Talk, Peggy and Tina point out, however, that it makes no difference to them whether a Club is managed by a male or a female director.

Tina Grünold describes herself as a “TUI veteran”: She started her career training as a travel agent in a TUI travel agency, subsequently studied tourism, worked as a travel rep for TUI Service and joined Robinson in 1998. Following positions in various Robinson Clubs, including Select Maris in Turkey and Alpenrose Zürs in Austria, she joined Robinson Club Cala Serena in Palma de Mallorca in 2012.

Peggy Gau started her career in the traditional hotel business, undergoing training as a chef. A job offer from Robinson provided her with the opportunity to assume various positions in different clubs, including roles as Purchasing Manager and Pre-Opening Manager in Agadir and as Deputy General Manager in the Maldives. In 2016, she joined Cala Serena Club, which she has managed jointly with Tina Grünold since last year.
