The first TUI Sensatori Resort opened in Crete in 2008 establishing a unique luxury holiday concept designed to fuel the senses. Ten years on and the eleventh TUI Sensatori Resort is set to open in Rhodes and the birthday will be marked across all locations. The luxury brand, originally established in the UK, now also targets international guests. It is one of TUI Group’s seven core brands and concepts differentiating the world’s number one tourism group from its competition.
The new TUI Sensatori Resort Rhodes
The latest resort in the TUI “handpicked“ portfolio promises 5 star luxury in a stunning beach location overlooking the Aegean Sea. The new hotel provides 330 rooms, from family suites to more swim up rooms than any other TUI Sensatori Resort. The new Resort Rhodes opens in June and will also boast an exclusive multi-sensory experience in the main lobby. Elegant hanging pods will provide unique elemental themed sensory environments, based around the Greek Gods, featuring sound, colour, aroma and film content.
New highlights to mark the anniversary
The name Sensatori is a combination of the Japanese word Satori, which loosely translates as “wow“ and sense; and the concept is designed to do just that – wow the senses. Therefore, a brand new TUI Sensatori scent has been developed. Guests will experience it in a variety of ways – from subtle sprinklings on pillows to reed diffusers and aroma burners to the essential oils used in the spa. Lavish new entertainment productions and new themed children’s activities will be introduced like the “Back to the Future“ theme for kids focusing on fun developments in art, science and food in the last decade, and fast forwarding to the future as children predict what life will look, feel, taste, sound and smell like in decades from now. In addition, there will be new sports and wellbeing classes for 2018 like Partner Yoga, Barre Fitness which uses the fundamentals of ballet to create a powerful workout or Mindfulness Meditation.
Sensory fuelled 10th birthday celebrations will also be held at all TUI Sensatori Resorts on 27th September and guests holidaying at the resorts are invited to join the multi-sensory soirees.
