First TUI hotel opens in Santorini

Tourism group expands its portfolio in Greece to 49 hotels

The opening of TUI Sensimar Meltemi Blu marks the debut of TUI Group’s own hotel brands in the Greek island of Santorini. The world’s leading tourism group will continue to expand its hotel business in Greece with a total of six new openings scheduled for this Summer. TUI Group’s portfolio in Greece will grow to 49 hotels.

TUI Sensimar Meltemi Blu in Perissa opened its doors to guests at the beginning of June 2019. The newly built hotel, designed in a contemporary style, features only 96 rooms and targets couples expecting a relaxed, child-free break in a hotel designed for couples.

Apart from the new TUI Sensimar Meltemi Blu hotel, the adults-only TUI Sensimar brand has opened three additional hotels in the Greek islands of Kos, Crete and Zakynthos. From this Summer, TUI’s hotel portfolio will also include a new TUI Family Life in Crete and the Atlantica Beach Resort hotel in Kos.
