Bon APPetit: TUI Magic Life guests to vote for their favourite dishes via an app

TUI all-inclusive club gives holidaymakers a say in the composition of the buffet

The all-inclusive club brand TUI Magic Life is now giving its guests a say in its buffet offerings. With just one click, holidaymakers can vote for their favourite dishes and play an active role in determining the composition of the buffet in the main restaurant Magico. The guests can vote every day using the TUI Magic Life App. The winners, the top three most popular dishes, are directly posted to the chef and freshly prepared.

“The new function of our app helps us align the culinary offering of TUI Magic Life clubs to an even greater extent with the preferences of our guests,” said Andreas Pospiech, Managing Director TUI Magic Life. “Thanks to innovative technology, holidaymakers can get involved in determining the culinary experience in the club. The technology also enables our chefs to learn even more about our guests’ preferences and create new dishes to suit their tastes.”

Using the new “Magic APPetite“ function, the guests can vote for dishes for the evening dinner buffet in the restaurant Magico until 11 a.m. every day. They can choose from a total of 46 dishes, competing with each other in pairs. Every day, the three dishes winning the highest scores are prepared for dinner and served in the main restaurant. The guests can also award a “super like” once a day, included in the count by a factor of ten. When a dish has been selected, its score is set back to zero, while all other dishes retain their scores for the next day.

Apart from voting for selected dishes, the TUI Magic Life App also offers the guests additional benefits: It enables them to check the club’s daily programme, book a table in one of the specialty restaurants, or directly post their comments or suggestions. It provides the guests with an overview of all club facilities at a glance: from the restaurant via the bars, relax and sport zones all the way to the family areas.

Customers increasingly attach importance to the possibility of personalising their holiday. The option to choose dishes for the buffet is but one example of new, personalised offerings available from TUI’s hotel brands and concepts.
