RIU Hotels & Resorts is celebrating reaching two million followers on its official Facebook page, 10 years after creating the profile in the community in 2009. Since then, the hotel company’s presence on the popular social network has grown exponentially.
RIU is delighted to share this news, because it is a reward for the daily work that goes into maintaining direct communication with its most loyal followers and customers. RIU Hotels & Resorts uses the platform to let followers know about its news and offers, as well as to share exclusive content and information about its hotels.
To celebrate these 2,000,000 fans on Facebook, the company is launching a competition to reward its loyal followers with a round-the-world trip, made up of five stops of five days each. It includes stays in some of its hotels in the four continents where RIU is present, specifically, New York, Cancún, the Canary Islands, Zanzibar and the Maldives. To take part, click here.
