From Hanover to Stockholm: Magnus Hüttenberend will take over responsibility for Corporate Communications as of April 1st

  • Taking care of Communications for TUI in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland
  • Hüttenberend will continue to be responsible for digital media channels in the Corporate Communications of the TUI Group
  • Stefan Siemon will simultaneously move as Senior Manager Digital Communications to the TUI Group

The TUI Group is strengthening its Communications in the Nordic countries of Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. From 1st of April, Magnus Hüttenberend will be responsible for Corporate & Colleague Communications, Government Affairs and Sustainability at TUI Nordic. He started at TUI in the Group headquarters in Hanover, but will soon relocate to Stockholm.

In addition to his new role, as Head of Group Digital Communications, he will continue to be responsible for the Group's digital channels. Hüttenberend will report to Thomas Ellerbeck, member of the Group Executive Committee of the TUI Group, responsible worldwide for Communications, Government Affairs, Foundations and Environment, and to Alexander Huber, Managing Director of TUI Nordic.

The change is taking place as part of the TUI Group's Global 60 programme. The programme aims to promote international careers within the TUI Group. Employees are encouraged to use their respective skills abroad in multinational teams and to gain new experience in the local markets.

At the same time, Stefan Siemon is joining the international communications team of the TUI Group as its new Senior Manager Digital Communications & Social Media. He will be responsible for both the social media communications of the Group as well as the training of employees to become influencers. He will report in his new position to Hüttenberend.


Magnus Hüttenberend (31) has been responsible for digital communications since joining the TUI Group in 2015. In the last two years he also managed the social media team of TUI Germany. Previously, he was responsible for Content Marketing and the digital marketing channels of Vodafone Germany.

Stefan Siemon (31) has been working for TUI in various capacities since 2009. After completing his dual Bachelor's degree at TUI Deutschland, he worked as a project manager at TUI Destination Services in Switzerland and completed a Master's degree while working. Most recently he worked as Social Media Manager for TUI Deutschland, where he founded the TUI Social Media Academy.
