The Taste of Vietnam: A culinary Adventure with TUI BLUE

Let’s dive into Vietnamese cuisine!

The lifestyle hotel brand TUI BLUE stands for food experiences with a local touch. You can find a selection of them on YouTube.

Now, TUI Blue has launched a mini-series to introduce guests to the flavours of one its holiday destinations in Southeast Asia. As a chef, author, photographer and globetrotter, Olaf Deharde is very familiar with Vietnam's diverse and colourful culinary culture and went on a journey of discovery for TUI BLUE. Intense flavours, fresh ingredients, spices and herbs: the basic rule of Vietnamese cuisine is that food should not only taste delicious, but also be healthy. For an authentic Vietnam experience, Olaf shows you how to recreate traditional dishes at home to get you in the mood for a holiday at TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An.

Immerse yourself in the diverse and colourful cooking culture of Vietnam with four great new BLUE®Taste recipes. Various dishes Banh Mi with fish to the vietnamese noodle soup Pho are already online. More videos will come until the end of July.

Vietnam is fast becoming one of the most popular destinations for travellers to Asia. According to a report by Google Destination Insights, the country ranked seventh among the world's most visited destinations between March and June 2023, and was the only country in Southeast Asia to make the top 20. This summer, Vietnam has introduced new, more relaxed visa regulations that make it easier to travel and explore the country. Visitors of certain countries will be able to enjoy a 45-day visa-free stay. The list of countries includes for example the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Russia, Japan, Korea and Belarus.

TUI's lifestyle hotel brand is represented in Vietnam by TUI Blue Nam Hoi An and is also interested in further new hotel projects in the region. In 2024, two new openings in Nha Trang and Tuy Hoa are planned.
